Vinnie Pasquantino hoping to bounce back in 2024 MLB season

As the preparations for the 2024 season continues, several players are hoping to bounce back from their earlier disappointments. Kansas City Royals’ Vinnie Pasquantino is one of them.

The 26-year-old is regarded as one of the top players for the Royals. The 2023 season turned out to be a horrific one for him. Pasquantino suffered a shoulder injury which required surgery. This brought an premature end to his season.

With the spring training around the corner, the American international is pumped up for the 2024 season. During the Winter Meetings, he opened up about he does not want to go through the 2023 season again and hoped to stayed fit this year. He was recently spotted practicing on his swing techniques in the batting cage, showcasing positive signs about his recovery.

In the 61 games he appeared in last season, Pasquantino managed to bat with an average of .247 along with nine home runs and 26 RBIs. This season he would be looking to drastically improve this number and become an important part of the team.

The Royals had a disappointing campaign last time out and finished dead last in their division table with a 56-106 record. Only time will tell how much impact will Pasquantino have on his return to the starting lineup and how much will it affect the team’s performance.
